I spent a wonderful afternoon at Elizabeth Castle. The views were fantastic, there was lots to see and I really enjoyed the cannon firing practice. My favorite part of the castle was the hermitage. When I got home to Australia I had heaps of great photos to show my family.
"During the Second World War Jersey was the only part of British soil to be occupied by the Nazis" - false, or do you think the rest of the Channel Islands don't count?

Visit on a Sunday when the "garrison" is there, displays of drill, musket firing and the cannon. Excellent
