Recently voted the 4th best beach in the UK by TripAdvisor, St Brelade's Bay on the south coast of the island, is one of the most popular beaches in Jersey.
A sheltered bay with soft, golden sand, clear water and plenty of beach side cafes and bars. During the height of the tourist season it can can get a little crowded but even then you can still find a quiet spot on the eastern end of the beach.
Beach Activities There's volleyball, trampolines and a watersports concession that does banana rides, speedboat trips around the bay and hires out kayaks and pedalos.
Food & Drink There are plenty of cafes and beach kiosks all along the bay. The Wayside Cafe is popular with locals and there is a glass covered Pizza Express on the beach with magnificent views over the bay. The beachfront Oyster Box is the best restaurant in the area.
Parking There are plenty of public car parks along the length of the bay but by lunchtime they are usually full.
Swimming The water slopes off gently so it's safe for kids. During summer months the beach is patrolled by life-guards.
Toilets Public toilets along the length of the bay.
